The team is open to any middle or high school aged student athletes in good academic standing. Student athletes must be enrolled in school or participating in home-school.

As a composite team, athletes may attend any school and live anywhere in the greater Tallahassee area.

Riders of all skill levels are welcome! Everyone practices, everyone races and there is no bench.

A NICA team uses mountain biking as the foundation for a unique experiential learning opportunity.

Student athletes learn bike handling skills, navigation, route building and basic bike maintenance in a fun and supportive environment.

The team will practice two to three times a week from December to May and athletes may optionally participate in league races starting in March.

Practices will be held on Tallahassee's south side. We will use the FAMU Way Extension and St. Marks Trails to commute by bike to parks and trail systems.

Cascades and Myers Parks will be used for skills building, where we practice bike handling skills to get the team ready for the trail.

The Munson Hills trail complex will be our primary single track trail system.

We build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities through cycling.

Every youth is empowered to be part of a thriving and engaged cycling community.
